Tattershall farm park is literally down the road, a very long one which at times I thought we were going to disappear for days but we did enjoy their witty signs along the way.
There’s so much to do here, you won’t know where to start. I would recommend looking at the timing board so you can enjoy some of the hands on meet the animals and talks.
We however headed straight for lunch, there’s a large restaurant with a small soft play in the cover which kept the kids happy whilst waiting for the food to arrive. There is a good choice of food and a brilliant choice of cakes!
After lunch we worked our way around the animals, feeding them with the various bags of food we had purchased with our entrance tickets. The animals are kept in lovely large enclosures, it’s very clean and well kept. We even got to feed the lambs and hold an owl! (There’s a falconry Centre).
Then there’s the play equipment..... A huge outdoor wooden adventure climbing apparatus. Two big bouncing pads. Play equipment, sand pits, climbing course, a brilliant indoor soft play barn and hay barn with swings and slides.
In general we loved it 5 star!
UPDATE:
Halloween at Tattershall Farm Park: If you are staying at Tattershall over halloween we would thoroughly recommend a visit to Tattershall farm park. You can pay a bit extra to the ticket price to upgrade to a Halloween package, this included pumpkin picking, pumpkin carving, arts and crafts and a tattoo. A complete hit with the kids, and with us as the pumpkin picking was really easy and well laid out.
